I am trying to figure out if being a nationally registered EMT will affect someone once they get to the EMT/Paramedic portion of the pipeline. Will the individual be able to retake EMT if he so chooses or does he HAVE to bypass that portion of the pipeline since he is already nationally registered? I have searched the site and have found information about bypassing it, but my real question is if the individual will be able to retake the class so that he will be even more ready for the Paramedic portion.

Thanks

This is adequately discussed in previous posts. Do a search and be sure your search is for at least a year or two rather than default 1 week.

The policy is also some what disclosed in the EMT-B and EMT-Paramedic course descriptions.

Searching for at least a year or two definitely helped. Thanks for letting me know that and your response.
