Just received notice after the long process of retraining that I will be in the March Indocrination course for Pararescue. Was wondering if any others on the forums were in my class.

I am still waiting to hear if I got in that March class. Do you know the exact start date?

My recruiter seems to know nothing about the FY16 school dates for the developmental course and Indoc. Any idea other than March? I'm in the process of getting my packet together and turned in.

Just received an email from the Pararescue training pipeline manager, and he said I had to attend a "phase II, eyes on assessment" which takes place during the same time as the first week of the next DEV course.(March 13-18)

Is anybody familiar with this?

Thanks

Just speculating as I have not talked to anybody at the Lackland courses.

As you are very vague about your current military rank, and TIS, I speculate that a bit more scrutiny is being given to cross trainees. Which was something that was done up until ca. 1987, when focus was shifted entirely into be about running and swimming.

An eyes on assessment indicates the competency, effectiveness and efficiency of your performance is to be evaluated beyond just doing the preparatory physical fitness training. The assessment should, if it's being done correctly, looking at you ability to function competently and effectively as an NCO. (Just speculating, but considering the lack of integrity in EPRs in 98% of the Air Force, something that is justifiably needed.)
